Got in late;they had left a map indicating our room was 42a but key said 6. Luckily we tried 6 first. Room was like a sauna even with fans on/doors open. Airconditioning didn't work. Bathroom was old & grout was dirty & fixtures in poor shape. Only provided smallest shampoo & minimal towels. Had a tour the next day & office staff gone by 7pm when we got back. Called about the a/c. Was told how to use it.
Tried but still didn't work. They said someone would be out or we could change rooms. Waited til 9:15pm & finally decided to try another night w/o a/c. The next a. I needed to make a local call. The phone didn't work. We left on another all day tour. Got back, no office staff. Called after hrs # & said I wanted out of the 3rd night committment. It was called a RESORT online but she said it was only an apartment complex w/units to rent.
The name says 'Q RESORT'!!! My son & I packed up that night and left. We slept in our rental economy car. Same temperature as resort & a lot less $$!
FURY snorkel, tramp, Whitehaven beach trip-- a DON'T DO. Taken to a snorkel location with no visibility. Heard the captain say it would've cost him hundred$ more to go to a different spot. Didn't have determined time at Whitehaven beach so couldn't enjoy it because of waiting to be picked up by shuttle boat. Captain of boat irritable and mean to boathand. What a disappointment!
