Excellent location Servicing of the room minor inconsistencies - e. coffee wasn't replaced Standard of cleanliness was very good Not enough storage in Coral Sea Suite but could be easily rectified by adding another dozen coat hangers to the wardrobes Staff were very helpful and friendly The resort definitely has the best location in Airlie Beach therefore it was surprising that not much has been done to give ithe exterior the wow factor it deserves -
Airlie Beach is a great base for the exploring the Whitsundays - Plenty of places to eat and drink and adequate shopping facilities Yes, there are lots of backpackers but we didn't see any problems with that they were all well behaved and polite and just there to enjoy the Whitsundays like everyone else Very glad we didn't stay at Long Island Resort. What are the owners thinking - fantastic location. Otherwise - what a dump!!
