Great views over Airlie Beach made up for all the little things which did not meet our expectations of this 4 1/2 star resort. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and everything was provided yet the couch and fold out bed both had holes iand tears in the covers, the airconditioners barely worked and filters had not been cleaned in a long while. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was filthy and the ceiling fans were very noisy.
Unfortunately the coffee satchets and the long life milk were both out of use by date. (the coffee I could cope with but not milk). The pool area was clean and comfortable chairs were available. I could not find any button to start the spa, clearly instructions were needed. If the resort was really busy you would be lucky to get any space in the pools as they were not very large. The resort has lock up garages and is within easy walking distance to the main street.
Reception lady was efficient yet not over friendly.
