The view from our apartment was spectacular. We were high up on a hill overlooking the beautiful Airlie Bay and the village of Airlie Beach. While it was only a short walk down to the main shops, it was quite a strenuous one coming home as it was all up-hill and then there was three flights of stairs to get to our room! The grounds and 4 pools at the Resort were well maintained. The apartments were well designed with plenty of space but they do need a bit of an update, particually the pictures on the wall and the sofa.
These are just minor things as the view compensates for this.
The Whitsunday Crocodile Safari is one of the attractions which should not be missed. Everyone goes here for the Reef and the Islands but they should also do this Croc Safari. Steve has a great knowledge about crocodiles and the environment and it is a very good full days activity.
